In celebration of Brasilia’s 50th anniversary, the United States Embassy, in partnership with the binational center Casa Thomas Jefferson, organized the fifth “English Immersion USA” program, for 100 outstanding English language public school students.

From July 4th to 9th the students were totally immersed in U.S. culture, taking part in various activities — conversation classes, U.S. history and geography classes, basketball and volleyball, cooking, hip-hop and a tour of the Federal capital.
